+1. I observe the similar behaviour. Additionally, I would also like to install vim, wget etc but I could not locate a good repository. I failed to set a repository to http://download.opensuse.org/ with zypper complaining not-valid-repository error. Which repository can be used? As Geoffroy said, it is recommended to have one or two editors (vim and emacs), wget and essential tools preinstalled with chroot.
