For the purpose of making the download repository[1] clear and clean, we plan to do the following changes: What's the change: ============================================== * We plan to release the tools repo monthly, tools repo ID rename to: <YY>.<MM>, for bug fix release, it will be: <YY>.<MM>.<ID> * The tools repo will contains all the client tools: gbs, mic, fastboot, lthor, sdb, etc * Three folders in top level: latest-release, pre-release, archive ** 'latest-release': You can find the latest released version, we recommend you to update your repo to point to the repo under this folder, it is a symbol link to the latest version in 'archive' ** 'pre-release': You can find the pre-release version of the tools there before formal release, please be aware of the tools in this folder may not good enough. ** 'archive': All the released version will be archived under 'archived' folder * Tools download directory re-structure (see details below) New Structure ============================================== The new structure shown as following figure: ├── archive/ │ ├── 12.10/ │ ├── 12.11/ │ └── 12.12/ │ ├── Fedora_16/ │ ├── Fedora_17/ │ ├── openSUSE_12.1/ │ ├── openSUSE_12.2/ │ ├── Ubuntu_11.10/ │ ├── Ubuntu_12.04/ │ └── Ubuntu_12.10/ ├── latest-release/ ├── pre-release/ └── README.txt The impact might to you ============================================== You need to update repo url in your repo configure to align with this change, otherwise you will get '404 not found' error when update or refresh the repository We plan to this change in next week.
