Thanks to all who responded. JunHo helped me resolve the issue.
Here is what he said about the issue. " Basically, SDK will sign your widget package on current date-time. But, If date-time of your target device has been set to invalid time, signature will not working. For example, your widget signature has been created on Dec, 2012. But If date-time of your target device is Dec, 1982, so that wrt-installer think that signature is invalid.
