Why not copy the tarball to the Tizen device and then extract the
archive? This would make it easier to work with MS Windows and
would make the transfer a bit faster and easier.
Sounds nice. Why don't you append it as an alternative installation
option to the wiki article?

Thank you for the link. I've just installed it :) Works like a charm!
Btw in my humble opinion the official article is not so good. I
created a wiki article with more details, explanations about the
problem and the solution. The article points out that installation
guide can be applied from any OS that is supported by Tizen SDK. I
have tested it personally on a Mac.

I am very excited about the official release of Tizen 2.0 Magnolia.
I found out that are not enough videos about it at YouTube. So I
borrowed
a camera and I quickly shot a short movie about the basic built-in
apps
and settings of the new release. The result is not as good as I
would wish but please forgive me I am an amateur video maker :)

Next time I’ll try to configure better focus of the camera. I
haven’t installed the Mail DDK yet and there is no hardware
acceleration. When I
have more free time I’ll enable the hw acceleration and I plan to
shoot
another video about the Internet browsing, e-mail client, camera,
task manager...
