What's your version of gbs now, 0.15?

If you are already using 0.15, I am not clear the reason. But on 64bit ubuntu, 
it works well for me.

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 32 bit version.
As you mentioned I updated the gbs tool but still I get same issue. It hangs in 
between during compilation(When executing build requires step in .spec file). I 
have attached the .spec file for your reference
I am using following command :
sudo gbs build -A armv7l -D ~/build.conf --include-all --clean-repo
Please help me to solve the issue.

Could you please upgrade your gbs to gbs 0.15 at: 
https://download.tizen.org/tools/pre-release/? Then try again.

to compile the gbs build process hangs in between.

As shown above, the build stops at any point when the dependent build requires 
is executed from the .spec file.
I have tried to compile the latest 2.0 menu-screen package and this too hangs.
Any pointers to solve the issue?

You don't need specify dependencies, gbs can help to download and install to 
build root for building.

How you get menu-screen source code? the input of gbs should be git repo.

If you can't clone from http://review.tizen.org/gerrit/ , you can download src 
rpm from:

http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/tizen-2.0_20130219.4/repos/main/source/org.tizen.menu-screen-1.0.23-1.1.src.rpm

Then use gbs import to create a git repo for menu-screen.

Then config http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/tizen-2.0_20130219.4 to 
~/.gbs.conf<http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/tizen-2.0_20130219.4%20to%20%7E/.gbs.conf>

Finally, use "gbs build" to build menu-screen.

CMAKE is an upstream project, and you should be able to find all the
