Hi Ulf,
Tizen uses NodeJS as toolchains only. Which means it used for buid-time, and
you can not run in the Tizen.
You may build your own NodeJS for armv7l architecture and pack in RPM, because
Tizen is Linux. But it is not Tizen application, is linux application. And I am
not sure that Tizen browser can access Node in localhost.
If Same Origin Policy is only matter for you want to use NodeJS, why don't you
try in JSONP? In most of cases, JSONP can deal with that.

Daehyeon

Title : [Tizen General] Accessing NodeJS hosted content

Hi,

I noticed the Tizen repositories contain NodeJS. How would I go about
accessing a NodeJS hosted application using the Tizen WRT in fullscreen
mode?

I tried changing content src in the config.xml file for my widget to
point to the URL Node is running at. This will result in the browser
opening the page. Then I tried modifying index.html by adding a iframe
sandbox, using jQuery load(). This doesn't seem to work due to the Same
Origin Policy blocking the request. ->

There surely must be a way to serve pages via NodeJS and have the web
runtime engine render them fullscreen on a Tizen device.

Thanks,
Ulf
