Hi Sungyul,
Thank you very much! I am delighted by the quick reply and great
support from the whole Tizen Team at Samsung.
However, I guarantee that the DDK package works properly for Tizen2.1
beta and you can use the hardware acceleration feature of reference
target devices.
I have already installed it on RD-210 and everything works like a
charm. I'll proceed with update of RD-PQ.
Btw I updated the wiki articles related to Mali DDK installation and I
have posted the download link:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Enable_3D_Acceleration_on_Tizen
Thanks,
Leon

Dear Leon,
To relieve the suffer from the abscense of DDK package for Tizen2.1
beta, we decie to post the proper DDK package to Tizen website.
You can download the DDK package for the reference target binary for
Tizen 2.1 beta in the following page;
http://source.tizen.org/mali-ddk-2.1 [1]
It is not offical version for Tizen2.1, therefore, it can be modified
when 2.1 SDK is released.
However, I guarantee that the DDK package works properly for Tizen2.1
beta and you can use the hardware acceleration feature of reference
target devices.
Best regards,

TITLE : Re: [Tizen General] Mali DDK Issue on Tizen 2.1 Beta
Dear Leon,
Unfortunately, the DDK package posted in Tizen website
(https://source.tizen.org/mali-ddk [2] ) is only for Tizen2.0
reference target deivces, and target binary of Tizen2.1 needs other
version of DDK.
After the release of Tizen2.1, the proper version of DDK for 2.1 will
be posted.
Therefore, I recommend you to update the binary after the public
release of Tizen2.1.
Best regards,
- Sungyul Choe

TITLE : [Tizen General] Mali DDK Issue on Tizen 2.1 Beta
Hi,
I flashed Tizen 2.1 Beta on RD-210 following the tutorial:
https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Flash_Tizen_2.1_Image_to_Reference_Device
Everything was OK until I installed Mali DDK rpms to enable 3D
hardware
acceleration. I followed the procedure for installation of Mali DDK on
Tizen 2.0 Magnolia but as a result after reboot I always get the
following error message: "enlightenment has closed unexpectedly".
How can I fix it?
Btw the issue with lthor and modemanager still exists on Ubuntu 13.04
so I update the lthor troubleshooting wiki article.
10x,
Leon
