I know somebody tried below steps to enable a customized emulator image for
Tizen 2.1. But I am not sure whether it's still valid for 2.2. FYI.
Resize the platform.img
qemu-img resize platform.img +4G

create base vm image
qemu-img convert -S 5G platform.img -O qcow2 platform.x86

From emulator-manager, create a new vm using platform.x86 as the base image.

launch the emulator, when the emulator screen goes dark, type
sdb kill-server
sdb shell

Now in emulator shell
su
resize2fs /dev/vda 5G

reboot emulator, and IT WORKS.

Thanks,
Ning

Subject: [Tizen General] Emulator Base Image Issue

Hi
I downloaded the tar.gz file from
http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.2-emul/tizen-2.2-emul_20130719.2/images/EMULATOR/,
then I use the qemu-img tool convert the img file to x86 file using the
following command "qemu-img convert -O qcow2 platform.img emul.x86",but when I
use the x86 file as the emulator's base image,it can't boot up,after 'Booting
the kernel'.
what's wrong?
Best Regards!
