As explained below, Samsung rejects all Gear Fit2 apps.
Most people know I'm an economist, so they ask me: "how can Samsung be so
stupid ?"
It's very simple: it's part of a basic product differentiation strategy.
Samsung has thousands of products: product A is more expensive than product
B, so it must have more features.
So a marketing guy decided that Gear Fit2 wouldn't have apps, in order to
"protect" Gear S3.
Seemed a rather simple decision: Gear Fit1 didn't have apps either...

Main problem: marketing guys in giant companies usually don't understand
the big picture:
1) Samsung invests enormous amounts of time and money to create a Tizen
ecosystem: one of the most heard complaints about Gear watches is "it needs
more apps"
2) Many devs will *buy *the Gear Fit2 but they can't create an app for it:
this is certainly not going to improve Tizen's reputation
3) This major mistake is going to have a big impact on Samsung's image and
wearable sales for years to come
