This may be my paranoia talking, but who is the intended audience for

If the audience might be large, Is it possible for this to be sent
through the mirrors?
Manoj, that is the same question I had when I saw it. However, I doubt that
we can ask the mirrors to all add the MIME type.
I've generally stayed disconnected from the mirrors stuff, but haven't
we asked mirrors to keep up to date with changes in Apache
configuration? Do we have a general idea of how slow they are to react?
Maybe this discussion is more appropriate for [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I

My thought is that if we
discover that this file is an issue, we can off-load it to the European
colo.
That would work.
BTW, we should investigate <http://www.freecache.org/>. It was mentioned
on Slashdot earlier today. Given our size, I'd want to get an OK from
the Internet Archive folk before using them. I know someone who works
there, and I can chat with him about this if there's any interest.
They could be a great answer for this Java Web Start app, as well as a
lot of our general mirroring needs.
