too many open files just sounds like you need to turn up the open file handles for you apps. I don't recall what changed in 2.9 in that regards but it sounds like a problem that is well known with lucene. maybe enable compund file system if you can afford the perf hit? simon > > > > Need help > > > > FERNANDO H.
