Ok, to tell the program witch database to use, you configure that in search.htm
template.
Simply, in the search.htm file you will find line for configuring the database, edit
it (change the parameters to your own , e.g. the db type ,username ,pass ,name ,etc),
and place the file in the same directory, with search.exe.
About the second problem you have..
I think you did not put the search.exe file in directory of your web server..
If you are using Windows NT or 2000 follow these steps:
1-make directory and name it search or any thing you like, (in our example aim going
to assume that you named it search)
2-place search.htm and search.exe into that directory..
3-copy this directory or move it into your root directory witch should be:
C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\
4-modify search.htm to fit your needs.Change the db parameters, the language, etc.
5-go to your iis manager (internet services manager) , witch should be in the control
panel , inside the administrative Tools..
Click on default web site, right click and choose properties, go to home directory,
and in the execute permeations choose scripts and executables, click apply..And you
are done...
Now point your browser to http://127.0.0.1/search/search.exe
And every thing should work fine with you ..:)
