I've found that indexer doesn't close TCP sockets sometimes.
I use last 3.1.12 version under FreeBSD 4.1 in cache mode. I guess that it happens in
"Connection timeout" cases. It looks like you forgot to close the socket after timeout.
It a big problem because my open files tables limited to 1064-2088 items. To fill up
the tables indexer requires just a day of working on my machine. It's suxx.
Of course, there is a solution: limit indexer running time to some hours and launch it
periodically from crontab. But isn't a good solution.
I'll try to found the place in the code where you forgot to close a socket. But I
think that developers may do it much faster and easier than me.
