When I go to run the Search.cgi program,Depends on the OS - Linux is easier than solaris and HP-UX to fix it properly for example - however the workaround is just copy the mysqlclient library to a location where the system can find it by default (or link it).....
I get a Error 500 Internal Web server error. The Apache error-log tells me that the
library mysqllient.so.9 cannot be
found.I have added this path to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
and re-compiled and installed over again.Still no go...any ideas?
if you installed mysql in the default location you sshould be able to use the following command:
This will work in the any variant of the bourne shell (sh)
(cd /usr/local/lib/mysql ; for a in * ; do (cd /usr/lib ; ln -s /usr/local/lib/mysql/$a $a ) ; done )
....and before anyone replies with simpler lines - yes I know there is a lot simpler way but this will work across all OS's and platforms.
