Yes Joe is right..
Let say I want to index yahoo site:
When I add the new server for yahoo in the indexer , i can write in the tag section
"yahoo"
And let say I want to index aol site:
I will make new server for aol.com and in the tag i will write "aol"
Now i can create 2 different search interface for each one:
E.g. for yahoo search template i can use this sql query:
Select xxx from txt where xxx = 'xxx' and tag ='yahoo'
This is just example ... :)
This will bring result from yahoo site only ..using the same database , of cource to
do this you will need to make your own search interface :)
In fact the tag and category definition in mnogo search engine are the most feature i
liked..
now , I can use one database and different search engines , like in google , you can
search the entire google at google.com and you can search for linux only in
http://www.google.com/linux, and iam sure they both use the same database !
