cool, now here is what I have done so far:
Assuming ServerB is the searchBox with all sql/word data
and ServerAn(0,1,2,3...) are webservers running same linux platform.
Keep in mind, I'm using A Mylex Dual Channel 160MB ultra RAID 1+0 array running 36gb
on 4 10,000rpm Segate Cheetah drives. I wouldnt attempt this on IDE.
I export a NFS volume from ServerB/Mnogo/var/tree accross ServerAn
and call the directory ServerAn/Mnogo/var/tree. All SQL data is handled over mysql
socket traffic (this reduces NFS overhead), however There is a TON of NFS overhead
when looping though those trees! Although I'm not sure how much overhead NFS generates
on its own.
