Hello,
I'm new to mnogosearch but have made some headway today.
I've got the program installed and I've successfully run indexer.
(built-in DB support). Now I'm stuck on configuring the front-end.
I've downloaded the cgi script, edited and moved search.htm
from mnogosearch/etc to a web directory, and when I call
search.cgi it picks up the template okay, but when I try to search
it just sits there and then returns a blank page after 30 seconds
or so
.
Here's what I changed in search.htm:
VarDir /home/strongc/mnogosearch/var
And I commented out the following because I am using built-in
support:
# Database parameters are to be used with SQL backend
# and do not matter for built-in text files support
# Format: <DBType>:[//[DBUser[:DBPass]@]DBHost[:DBPort]]/
DBName/
#DBAddr mysql://foo:bar@localhost/search/
This is all I changed in search.htm. Can anyone offer any
suggestions on how to do this?
