Author: Ric Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message: I have compiled using mysql and cache mode..everything installs fine I start the the cachelogd server,then run indexer..fills url table in mysql,also fills wrd.log in var/raw..do a test search and get no results,search.htm is conf using cache mode with phrase support..indexer is conf with phrase too.. Is it necessary to run splitter to perform searches,or is this just for fast tag,site etc..also once the cachelogd server is started,is it necessary to stop it after indexing to perform searches.. I have tried changing db mode in search htm for kicks..nothing It worked fine when I had compiled in crc-multi with mysql since cache is much quicker,would like to use this..I did recompile from scratch when I started.. What do think?
