Could someone please clarify a couple of issues related to ispell.
What is the correct way to get it into the database and make sure it
is used? I know there are some instructions about using the indexer
to do that but I seem to be a little dense about that right now.
Second, and more importantly, I think the ispell word list can be
supplemented with other words. What I need functionally is to try and
make sure when someone searches for a state, using either the whole
name (such as Florida) or the two letter abbreviation (e.g. Fl ) the
appropriate records are retrieved. Can ispell help with this? If so,
suggestions on how to supplement it's word list to do this specific
type of comparison (e.g. Fl and Florida are equivalent) would be
greatly appreciated.
