my 2 cents ...
Our company analized other products before downloading and buying the win
version of mnogosearch.
It started working fine but after crawling some thousands url the indexer
started to freeze while it prompted "selecting ..." or in some versions just
crashed.
The only response I got was "trace the odbc". I did that and the indexer
behavior changed ... I thought cause of the delay generated by the trace
itself. Today, it needs to get someone in front of the monitor to check if
that's working or not.
I felt disappointed cause most of the comments and notes I performed via
e-mail got no answers at all.
I bet to this product because of the environmet and not cause it was not
expensive. I prefer to give a chance to the small business instead of the
big monsters.
I've heard so many comments about the cache mode that I really don't now if
I'd migrate the product from windows to linux platform. And as our company
has invested some thousand bucks to get the best equipment for the search
engine I'm not sure if my vote will support mnogosearch or another product.
As "Caffeinate" says, I share his point that the russian boys have the hen
of the golden eggs and they seem to be wasting their opportunity. For this
product and any other one they'd trade in a future, just for well known
fidelity reasons that marketing people keep in mind when helping companies
to go on.
My 2 cents and still betting to these boys. It's not too late.

search using GoTo in our main page)
