I'm trying to install on an host account on a Linux machine.
./configure --prefix=/a/directory/i/can/use --with-mysql --enable-linux-pthreads
seems to be functioning ok, but when I run make, or gmake, I get page after page of
errors - mostly 'parse errors'.
Is this likely to be down to permissions, or does the distribution (3.1.19) require
library's that I may not have?
Very grateful for any help cos I'm going to have a very angry ISP if I keep filling
their error logs!
