But on reinstalling after reformatting and installing Windows, the Indexer fails to create dict.txt and url.txt. I had it working on W2K, and now cannot get it to work on WinXP or W2K.
It *appears* to work, but does nothing. Here's what it writes into the log: START Saturday, November 03, 2001 21:29:38 Indexing... (1 threads) http://localhost/robots.txt http://localhost/dheise/leadership/ Done FINISH Saturday, November 03, 2001 21:29:39 There is an index.htm in that directory with links to the rest of the site. Even if I put that URL in the Start URLs page, nothing happens. I am running this on my local machine using IIS. Can anyone help?
