Hi, I've been trying to understand how the weights in the indexer.conf or the servertable are combined with the weightfactor wf, but I don't understand.
In the server-table I use the following weights: - url: 1 - body: 2 - title: 4 - keyword: 8 - description: 16 When I use either wf=00001, 00010, 00100, 01000 or 10000 then the order of the search-results is completely as expected. However, as soon as I combine different fields in the weightfactor I can't follow anymore. I've read all documents in the doc/ directory and all messages in the mailinglist archive that contain the words 'weights', 'intag', 'weightfactor' etc, but found nothing that helped me. Could you please explain how you combine the lower bits of the intag column with the weightfactor? Or even point me to the correct place in the sourcecode so I can try to understand the algorithm.
