Author: Paul Ingles Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message: I've got my site hosted by an external company but have a Linux box I use to do a test-site, and then upload the final pages once they're all ok.
What I want to do is to effectively build the site and search database on my local machine (since I have shell access to it), and then upload the relevant MySQL database tables to my hosts MySQL server so that users can then search my live site. The other issue is that the MySQL server at my host company requires that I use the database with my username. Since its only a simple shared virtual server, mysql has databases for all the users they host for, thus any search tables that mnoGoSearch uses must be in that database, is this ok? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
