I want to add that this syntax works since 3.2.x Unix branch.

As far as latest windows version is 3.1.15 based, this
is not available in it. We want to announce 3.2.2 based
windows version next week.

In 3.1.x branches you are able to include a file,
this syntax should work:

    $if(filename)

But personally I didn't test it on Windows.
