As part of my testing I ran "indexer -a" without having a "server" line and all links were deleted. Ever since I have been able to get the search to work. I re-started the settings back to the way they were and still nothing. In particular I have: Server http://itnet.drf.com/ file:/home/www/ # Allow everything Allow * When I do a search which used to work I get as many "No Title" as there used to be valid URls for the word in question. Searches which previously returned 0 search results continue to display the same. Thinking that perhaps the database data, on PostgreSQL, had gotten corrupted I tried 'indexer -c' and then running again 'indexer -a'. This did not help. Any ideas? I am trying to use this for work and if I got it to work I would gladly have my company contribute some $$ to the developers, but so far I have found the documentation and the FAQ a bit lacking.
