Author: Puna Tannehill Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message: on <http://www.mnogosearch.org/doc/msearch-ch08s02.html#templates-sect>, it states:
"It is possible to specify maximum number of characters returned by any of the above variables. E.g. $DU may return a long URL that may break page table structure. To specify maximum number of characters in the displayed URL's, use $(DU:xx), where xx - maximum number of characters: $(DU:40) ..." However, when I try to impliment this, ex. "$DE:99", and it renders the META Description text with ":99" at the end of it. Also, trying "$(DE:99)" renders "(DE:99)". Is there a flag that needs to enabled to get this to work, or perhaps I need to setup INDEXER differently, or am I implimenting this incorrectly?
