Thanks Jared for your thoughtful comments and feedback. Ted pretty
much covered it, I had 2 comments to add, see below.

Do consumers distinguish "official" vs "ideas" by how they
navigated to a
resource or by looking at the page itself once there? Is everything
unofficial in the Notes area like it is in Journal today? I'm not
clear how
this specific idea is changing.
Officialness has to do with which area you are looking at.
This could / should be communicated more clearly with more obvious
visual cues.
I'd like to see more consistent capitalization of non-first words
in the
leftnav. "Mail lists" not "Mail Lists", continuing the "Get
involved" style
that's already on there.
In principle I agree with you, however in the example you gave, the
capitalization is intentional, it's to draw emphasis to the word
Involved.
If the phrase were 'involve yourself', I would capitalize Involve,
but not yourself.
Just as in 'Mail lists', the word list is not so important, so it's
not capitalized. That being said, we should be vigilant about how we
use capitalization and make sure we're in-consistent for consistent
reasons :o)
