Ok,
I am going to log a bug for morgen's and for import/export plugins.
Heikki is PTO until mid next week, but OSCON is Monday. So I am
going to delete Heikki's projects from the wiki. When he gets back
either he or i can file the appropriate bugs. I realized that it is
better for him to file the bugs because that way, he as the contact
person will know when someone assigns themselves the bug.

Hi,
I made a pass on this page and did the following.
- Created the "starterproject" keyword for Chandler's Bugzilla
- Corrected the l10n paragraph, pointed to the correct l10n page,
added a table for such projects. I left the paragraph there since
we won't log bugs for all possible languages on earth and it's
worthwhile pointing people from that page to the l10n page. I
stopped short of creating bug for Spanish and Danish and assigning
to the listed volunteers...
- Suppress the JXTA project : Andi did jabber and imap for his P2P
experimental work. We wouldn't turn away a patch implementing JXTA
but that's not something that would "helpus" and it's not really a
simple "starterproject"
- Logged bug/starterproject 10076 (French localization)
- Logged bug/starterproject 10084 (Data Segmentation : predicting
use of incoming items from existing "folksonomy")
- Logged bug/starterproject 10085 (Data Visualization : visual
exploration of large sets of PIM data)
- Logged bug/starterproject 10086 (Behavior analysis and prediction)
Looks like I'm done for that page.
Cheers,
- Philippe

I've started reworking content on the HelpUs page, and am now at
the point of needing to take projects off of that page and put
them into bugzilla. I am happy to do this, but I don't want to
step on anyone's toes.
If you have a project on page, please let me know whether you want
to turn your project into a bug or whether you want me to do it.
People with projects on the page:
Heikki (lots)
Morgen (platforms)
Philippe (I18n, research projects)
If you make your own bugs, use the keyword starterproject. I'll
take care of fixing the existing helpus keywords.

I'm turning my attention to the HelpUs page <http://
chandlerproject.org/Projects/HelpUs>. After looking at the
proposal that I made about HelpUs <http://
lists.osafoundation.org/pipermail/general/2007-July/
000651.html> I found a few problems.
I'd like to rename this page to something like
StarterProjects. The name HelpUs makes it feel like
everything revolves around us and what we need as opposed to
being a collaboration with people not on staff at OSAF. I'd
also advocate that we use the keyword starterproject in place
of helpus in bugzilla, to be consistent.
I'm going to begin working on that page while we discuss what
its name ought to be.
