What does everyone think?

The portals pages and every subproject should just put their site
content into subversion and then we can update the site or parts of it
by doing an svn update on the web server.

Not sure if I understand the proposal.
Does this mean a refactoring the layout of the documentation.
For example

jetspeed-2/trunk/xdocs would be moved to portals/trunk/jetspeed-2/xdocs

?

And, the generated docs would also be stored in subversion portals/?

Sounds fine to me, really doesn't matter where its stored.
Just want to be clear on what Im voting on....

Sure :)

Now, I think we don't need to refactor the layout of the documentation
in the projects. So this means that for example the xdocs for j2 will
stay in the j2 project.
Only the generated paged will go in a common subversion directory. For
example the generated j2 docs will go to portals/site/jetspeed-2, the
generated wsrp4j docs will go to portals/site/wsrp4j and so on.
This means that each project is able to maintain the docs in however way
they want, but just creates a common space for the generated pages and
makes updating the whole portals website easier.

OK, just means we have to copy the generated docs into a portals/site directory and check in from there. Seems easy enough
