Currently portlet api 2.0 source files include a copyright notice like:
/**
* Copyright 2006 IBM Corporation.
*/
and there's a similar license.txt file. Apache policy (as explained in the
link) requests that an agent of the copyright owner remove such copyright
statements and include a copyright statement in the required NOTICE file.
I'm an IBM employee and I've checked with my manager that it's OK for me to
make these modifications.
