Self confessed-newbie alert! I have tried to answer some of my own questions but have come up short.I bring a ver 0.0.1 of a NYSE screen scraper as a humble peace offering.
http://www.openvest.com/scrapers/nysescraper.n3 (and .js) is where I am at. I am not able to install the screen scraper on my own system. The problem is that when I load the n3 it is scraped by "GenericWebPageScraper" and turned into type "Page" rather than a screen scraper. I've tried to follow the screencast and get the same problem. Tried a remove and reinstall but no luck again, although it appeared to hold on to some of the old data. ---------------------------------- different topic, after some poking around I saw a little about the sesame backend. I'm using a Jena backend for about 2Mill triples of Financial data and I expect that to grow. I'm not wed to tightly to Jena. Although I like the SPARQL web interface I would rather have the pySesame and SAIL of sesame. Questions: Can I(or is it practical to) use Piggy Bank as a convenience frontend to some of my data? Can I access my Piggy Bank data from pySesame? I'd better stop with the questions. Don't want to get greedy, the screen scraper is not that good buy I do currently scrape a number of sites with python and solvent is attractive. If I can install a scraper that is :-( -- Phil _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://simile.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/general
