More or less; that was the only aspect of Piggy Bank that I didn't really take a liking to myself. With a bit of luck (or work, probably :-), the data persisting side of Piggy Bank could be filled by today's integrated SQLite storage backend APIs. > You can try to use "facets" instead of "ex:facets".
