Not long ago timbl neatly highlighted a problem with using n-ary relations for physical units [1] (must-read!) which can be avoided by using the units as a predicate, e.g.
_:distance123 a geo:Distance ; geo:endPoint place:Chicago ; geo:endPoint place:NewYork ; units:miles "1000"^xsd:Integer . Cheers, Danny.
