Hi David,
For some strange and silly reason Exhibit doesn't like cooperating with
java and flash objects in the way I was hoping it would.  It probably
has something to do with all the various parameters that need to be
loaded, and I suspect that using ex:src-content or ex:href-content
doesn't work with the objects codebase for reasons unknown. 

I think the best solution would be to allow for html tags inside the .js
database files.  This way users (like myself) can add flash or java
objects into exhibit.  As well for anyone who is uploading essays or
multiple paragraphs can add tags like:

<br> <strong> <em> 

and other text formatting tags as well and be able to format large
strings of text and the like.

Would allowing html tags inside .js data files be a large fix or is it a
relatively small fix?
