You're reading my mind... I was thinking of exhibit-izing this:
http://lemur.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~cjg/www2007/days.php
Does anyone know how to get that data in some structured form? A SQL
dump or RDF. There are opportunities to explore that data by authors,
authors' affiliation, keywords, general terms, etc.
Maybe someone here knows-- is there yet a calendar layout API equivalent
to the Timeline API? I've looked all over but I only found tiny date
picker widgets, not large calendar layout widgets. I talked to someone
behind Google Calendar but I think their UI is tied to their back-end.

How sophisticated / dynamic are the graphs that you want? Are there some
particular data sets that you already have in mind for this?
