That would be awesome :-) I should admit that I'm not so great with 
documentation, so I do appreciate any help there.

Mason Tang is particularly good with documentation. He has already 
started documenting the javascript code using jsdoc, e.g.,

Note that since we're putting our energy on Exhibit 2.0, I'd recommend 
documenting that.
