To scroll the timeline programmatically, use something like this:
tl.getBand(0).scrollToCenter(new Date(2007, 7, 14)); // center
August 14, 2007
Timeline doesn't support dynamic zooming right now. You will have to
reconstruct the whole timeline to simulate zooming. You can keep the
event sources and don't have to reconstruct them.
