No, there is no way to automatically hide inapplicable facets, but I 
understand that that is desirable. I'd use 2 different HTML files that 
link to the same data file(s), with each HTML file displaying a 
different collection and containing different sets of facets.

The support for several collections is still experimental. If you could 
describe your usage scenario, it would help me think of how to improve 
this feature.
