If you look at this example

 http://simile.mit.edu/timeplot/examples/energy/index.html

it shows you how to turn "rounding" off.

Note: in javascript, all numbers are floats, so I had to turn it off by
default or you would see 1.00 even for numbers you wrote as integers.
