Hi Barry,

Yes, the link does get stripped out but it should still be available  
to you. When you define what your columns are, you can specify the  
type of one of the columns as "textwithlink", I believe. So for  
instance:

<source id="People" columns="label,favcolor,homepage:textwithlink" />

Then, the text part of the link is found in .homepage, while the URL  
is found in .homepage-link, which you can then add to a lens to get  
the hyperlink functionality back.

Let me know if that was unclear and I can try to whip up a quick  
example demonstrating it.
