Thanks, David, for your great work on Exhibit. I have a simple question that I'm sure I've seen discussed on this list, but I can't find the answer to. When I display properties in a facet, they're displayed in alphabetical order and there's a number to the left indicating the number of times that property is present. How do I display the properties in order of number of items with that property, so that the numbers go in descending order?
Here's my exhibit: http://williamgunn.org/exhibit/dnanetwork/dnanetwork.html Instead of an alphabetical list, I'm looking for a list sorted in order of the number of times that property is present. It seems like this should be easy, because the number of times the property is present is displayed as a number to the left of the property, but I can't figure out how to get the biggest numbers on the top. To make things explicit, the property list would start with genetics, which is present 14 times, then science(12), then genomics(10), and so on and would end with the properties only present once. For properties present equal numbers of times, alphabetical order is fine. Other suggestions for presenting this information, such a way that allows weighting each property on a per-item basis, are welcome. _______________________________________________ General mailing list [email protected] http://simile.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/general
