Larry,
It worked fine for me under IE7. I did get a warning box like so:
Stop running this script?
A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive.
YES NO
I said NO (do not stop running the script) and it did load up. I was able to
apply the filtering via Exhibit to select just the Beam or just a person,
etc.
Maybe your users are not repsonding correctly to the question IE7 is asking
them.
Cheers
Peter

Subject: IE Error on large dataset
Hi all,
I've got a site that's been working fine for some weeks now on all browsers:
IE on Windows, Safari on the Mac, Firefox on either. I've recently added
some new data to increase the set from about 950 to 1222 rows, and I'm
starting to get complaints of people not being able to view it in IE. I've
had reports of the "a script on this page is causing internet explorer to
run slowly" error, while my own testing on IE7 is simply that the page gets
stuck in the "Loading...." step and never displays. Is this just an issue
of the size of the data set, or is there something else I might look for? As
far as I know, I only added data - no other changes.
Firefox is fine on both Mac and Windows. Safari on Mac works. Neither is
super fast, but they work. IE remains broken.
The site is at http://www.learningapi.com/gym08/
Thanks for any advice!
Larry
