Hi Guys

My name is William Hicks. I'm a librarian and web designer at the University
of North Texas and one of the new volunteer editors at Digital Web Magazine.

We're always looking for new experts to contribute articles to Digital-Web and
I'd love to see one or more of the Simile projects get featured on our site.
Exhibit got a short mention in a piece on RDF last year, but I'd like to see
something more in-depth for our readership in the future, i.e. practical ways
they can incorporate the projects into their projects, sites, blogs, etc.

If anyone is interested, our usual process is for authors to submit a brief
proposal - just 1-3 sentences that sum up the article - that can be discussed
and refined, and once that is approved the article is then written and
submitted for editorial consideration and copy-editing.

We generally like articles to be 1500 to 3000 words, to contain specific
examples of what is being discussed, and to have some resources listed at the
end for further reading. Our preference is to receive articles in plain text
marked up with Textile, or just plain text. Once you've sent in the article, it
will go through our editing process, (which may involve sending you suggestions
for changes) and if we change anything while editing other than tweaks, we'll
check with you first before publishing

If anyone is interested or has any questions, please email me off-list at the
address below.
Regards,

William Hicks - Editor
