I should have made clear that there are in fact two json outputs - rdf/json (which maintains 100% fidelity with rdf, but won't work in exhibit) and exhibit json (which isn't roundtrippable as rdf, but does work in exhibit, obviously :) ). From your comments I'm guessing you looked at the first one, rather than the second. I'll add a pretty-print option to the json, but keep it off by default, to save on file size when it's being read by machines (which is what it's for after all). Your suggestion about adding links to sample data is also a good one. I'll get on it tomorrow morning.
