You can test-drive IE8 with Virtual PC and the one of the images from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=21EABB90-958F-4B64-B5F1-73D0A413C8EF&displaylang=en This way you are able to test for both IE6 and IE8.
