Apache XML-RPC Vs. JAX-RPC

Hi,

I apologise beforehand, if this is not the right place to ask this question: but could anyone tell me the difference between Apache XML-RPC and JAX-RPC? Which one is more stable, used widely? When should I consider Apache's implementation as opposed to Sun's?
