Hi folks!
Important public service announcement. If you're editing the
ws.apache.org web sites, and therefore using svn from the command line
on people.apache.org, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure that your umask is
set appropriately. It should be "002", not "0022". To change it just
use "umask 002" (you might want to put that in your .login or .cshrc).
This will ensure that the resulting .svn files are group-writable, which
avoids the occasional and very annoying locking errors that plague site
updaters.
