As long as the topics are in our area, are nicely written, and preferably
deal with some variant of open source licensing, I think it's fine to pass
this kind of thing on. It's good for this community to see what else is
out there, and nice to get announcements like this so we can check other
tools out and evaluate them. Any XML or tooling or xml-based webservices
announcements would be fine.
I'm not so sure about commercial tools (i.e. ones you gotta pay for)
although I'm not sure why I think about those in a different light.
