Questions about Xerces-C are best asked on the Xerces-C list, not on the
general list. The answer is no, but there is a way you can redirect
requests for external entities by using an EntityResolver. See the
documentation for more details. If you have more questions, please join
the Xerces-C list and post them there.

Hi,
I have a small and probably fairly easy question.
I'm using a Xerces XML parser (C++) in a Unix environment.
Is there a way (probably an environment variable?) to specify
in which directory the dtd is located. I don't want the path in
each XML file and the XML file and DTD might be in different
directories.
